TLC’s History

TLC Solutions, is a small, woman owned business that has been providing communications solutions since 2003. Originally formed as a consulting firm, TLC offered exceptional assistance in wired, cellular and satellite communication technologies.

Within months of opening its doors, many of our customers requested that we expand our services. Customers needed an integrator who truly understood wireless technology. Furthermore, they had needs for solutions designed for ease of deployment and on-going operations. Accordingly, TLC expanded our offerings to encompass not just consulting, but integrated solutions and services as well.

Most recently, TLC has developed our own radio access network products. Our products meet  the needs of remote, rural, and tactical users for small, simple, and flexible private networks.

What Does TLC Do?

Today, the TLC team has over 100 years of combined experience providing wireless and wired network deployments on a global basis. TLC Solutions provides compact, mobile and fixed cellular communications systems for a variety of networking applications. Our customers use our fixed and rapid deployment network solutions for emergency response, tactical deployments, and training environments. TLC has successfully designed, deployed and supported these systems in a variety of networks worldwide.

TLC’s networks use a multi-standard core that grows with your business from a single base station to large-scale networks of many base stations. The core platform performs all of the essential core network functions including the subscriber and equipment databases, complete suite of signaling protocols, and media translation capability – all from a single platform. In addition, the core also provides voice, video, instant messaging  and data services. We combine  the core with our radio access network products to provide tightly-integrated, complete wireless networks.

To provide maximum flexibility for global deployments, our  radio access network products use software defined radio (SDR) technology. SDR base stations allow the operator to change frequencies as the mission or business requirements change without swapping out their hardware. As always at TLC, our product design and solution development focuses on ease of deployment and operation, or as we say  “User First Technology”.
